Jennifer Dahm started her legal career as a Litigation Paralegal in 2010 and joined West County Family Law in 2012, specializing in family law, probate and estate planning.
Jennifer earned a dual B.A. in Art History and Studio Art from
University of Missouri - St. Louis in 1990 and a dual degree in Communications and Interior Design from Maryville University - St. Louis and St. Louis Community College Meramec in 1994.
Jennifer returned to school in 2010 to further her education by completing her Degree in Paralegal Law.
Jennifer continues to attend educational conferences and seminars involving family and criminal law.
Jennifer is an active member of CASA - Voices for Children as a sworn officer of the St. Louis Family Court appointed as an advocate for abused and neglected children in foster care.
Jennifer is a member of the St. Louis Paralegal Association.
Team Involvement:
Assisting attorneys with clients involving; high conflict divorce, custody, relocation, parental alienation, high asset division, legal separation, paternity, estate planning, probate, traffic and occasional criminal, garnishment, and contract disputes.
Case involvement also includes: interviewing clients and witnesses, corresponding with GAL, gathering evidence, legal research, maintaining contact with opposing counsel and court staff, scheduling conferences, preparing and organizing court required documents, drafting: petitions, motions, memorandums, wills, deeds, power of attorneys, simple trusts and judgments, e-filing, preparing discovery response and interrogatory documents, preparing trial binders, assisting at settlement conferences, pretrial hearings, contempt hearings, motion hearings and trials.
